NEW HAVEN - Friday, May 18, is National Bike to Work Day! New Haveners can do their part and go car-free by taking advantage of Bike New Haven.
Join us for Elm City Cycling's free Bike & Walk to Work & School Breakfast at Pitkin Plaza (Orange St. between Court & Chapel) on Friday May 18, from 7:30 - 9:30am. This event is sponsored by Cold Spring School and City of New Haven Street Smarts. We hope to see you there!
Bike New Haven is the official New Haven Bike Share program. Bike New Haven is a fun, convenient and healthy way to get around New Haven for locals and visitors alike. Bike New Haven provides the most convenient option for choosing bicycling for errands around town, sightseeing, or just for fun! Users can check out and return bikes interchangeably from stations conveniently located throughout New Haven.
Users can download the Bike New Haven app and register for a single ride, or select a day, monthly, or annual pass. Discounted memberships are available for qualifying low income users, students and seniors. Don’t forget to take part in the conversation by tagging your ride with #BikeNewHaven and #BikeToWorkDay !
